Hello friend and thank you for visiting my site!
I often say that my recipe for life is that happiness = loving relationships + puppy kisses + a great homemade meal + a kick-butt workout + a sunny day + a captivating book + a great cocktail. To me, these are the most important things in my life.
Everyone’s recipe is different – what is yours?
I have an amazing group of loved ones that encourage me to follow my dreams and who have been with me every step of the way. Without them this site and everything I write about would not exist. I thank each and every one of them from the very bottom of my heart. You know who you are. I also have a 6-year old loving pup named Tucker. He has taught me the true meaning of unconditional love and getting him has been one of the best decisions of my life.
In addition to spending time with those I hold dear, I love to exercise, cook, spend time outdoors, read and relax. I grew up playing soccer but these days you will normally find me on my yoga mat, running or heading to a spinning class. I love the feeling of freedom and power running and spinning provide, but yoga centers and grounds me.
One of my favorite things to do is cook and I love creating and sharing a meal with others. A glass of wine or a cocktail (or two) is always a great addition to these gatherings. I will never say no to a glass of wine. If it is a sunny day I get outside as much as I can to take a walk with my dog Tucker or go on a hike on a nearby trail. If it is rainy and cold you will most likely find me curled up with my most recent read. Most weekends you will also find me watching the English Premier League and cheering for my favorite team.
I am an accountant by day and a holistic nutrition and health blogger by night. I have a health coaching degree from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition in New York City.
